I came from an active background, but three pregnancies and three c-sections took their toll on my body. Like most people, I didn’t know where to begin. I was intimidated at the thought of counting macros, as that was something I thought only the serious dudes at the gym use. I was so wrong. Breanne’s guide makes it simple and easy. The focus on lifting has been extremely beneficial as well. As a lifelong swimmer and runner, cardio used to be my mainstay, but adding lifting to my fitness regimen has caused greater changes in less time. Plus, I haven’t run into the overuse injuries that used to plague me. Breanne’s methods work, and if you are consistent and honest with yourself, you will be amazed at how your body can change.


In just 18 months, my body has transformed in ways I never dreamed possible. I dropped from 39% to 24% body fat and increased lean muscle mass from 34% to 43%. If I can do it after three c-sections, a five, three, and one year old, then anyone can! I’m still not at my goal, but I have the tried-and-true tools to do it!

After losing 70lbs. within the first year of my journey, I shifted my focus and successfully added 8lbs. of muscle following Breanne’s nutrition guidelines. The reality is, optimizing your nutrition plan for muscle gain can result in a bit of fat gain in the process. Since I was happy with what I had achieved, I was ready for a cut.


Reducing my daily calorie intake means I must be more selective with the foods I eat, and the biggest hurdle has always been managing my sweet tooth. For so long I felt like I couldn't eat certain things, like breads, muffins, cakes; all the indulgent sweet, comforting foods without hindering my progress.


Breanne's recipes have been a cornerstone in my nutrition plan to lose an additional 13lbs. of fat while gaining a pound of muscle- without ever feeling deprived! Since all her recipes are low-cal and high protein, hitting my daily calorie and macro targets has been super easy. When combined with my lifting regimen, the fat just seemed to fall off. I’m seeing the muscle definition I’ve always wanted, my taste buds are happy, and I have never felt more comfortable in my skin.

Breanne, you’ve helped change my life with your nutrition info. I’ve struggled with gaining and losing weight for years, and because of you I finally figured out it was because I wasn’t fueling my body correctly.  I was eating 3 huge meals a day, but no matter how big they were, they never kept me full until the next meal. I was always starving between meals, which made it almost impossible to stay at a calorie deficit and also caused me to make bad food choices (because I was ravenously hungry). At first, I thought you were crazy and that I was never going to be able to eat that few calories in each meal but once I inserted the protein snacks, it was a piece of cake. I wasn’t starving anymore, and 300-400 calorie meals was no longer impossible. I don’t crave junk food and binge like I used to because my body is always content. Thank you so much!

I had heard of macros but it all sounded complicated at first. Boy was I wrong!  I was so frustrated with trying different diet "plans" including heavily advertised plans that left me craving foods that I had to eliminate or starving all of the time. The protein concept sounded daunting at first, but then I saw how easily I could plan my snacks and meals around my protein and other macro goals. I realized that I could do this macro thing and best of all I was satisfied after my meals and snacks and definitely not starving.
